Left Behind After the Lightening!

On Sunday, 31st May 2015, there was a heavy thunderstorm all over the capital, Accra. It rained heavily with lightening and thunders.

It started at a time most Christians were supposed to be in church. Those who went early were already having service but those who delayed couldn’t make it at all as the rains could not give them a favorable journey to church. Some found a perfect excuse to be absent at church service.

Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. (Matthew 24:40-41 NIV)”

As the youth service was going on a loud thunder struck across the sky with lightening. It happened with a loud noise within a twinkle of an eye and what it left was fear and shock in the eyes and hearts of the teens.

Then I received instruction from what just happened that ” what if it was the RAPTURE that just took place and we were left behind”. What if the loud noise was truly the sound of the trumpet and we couldn’t make it? What if we had missed the RAPTURE whiles we were in church?

So I mused about these things and I asked my teens same questions and there was utter silence and fear in their eyes.

I could see shock possible shock in their eyes and potential disappoint written on their faces. I could hear the possible murmuring in their hearts that ” have I been truly left behind”, “have I missed the RAPTURE”?

Well that may not have been the RAPTURE but certainly it can remind us again that the RAPTURE will soon take place.

And are you PREPARED? Will you GO? Or you will be LEFT behind when it occurs?

“In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. – 1 Corinthians 15:52”

No matter where you find yourself that day, make sure you are found worthy of the RAPTURE, no matter who you are now, you can miss the RAPTURE if you are not PREPARED!!

16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.

17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. – 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

Beloveds, it’s time to be even more serious with God and his WORK and make SURE of Salvation and Hold unto our faith!!
We have no time on hand as the Day of RAPTURE is more close than any predicted LIGHTENING!

This is not the time to PROCRASTINATE!

This is not the time to be LAZY!

This is not the time to be ARGUING!

This is not the time to be SKEPTICAL

One of these Raining days it may not be the SOUND OF Lightening but the SOUND OF THE TRUMPET!!!!

Don’t be LEFT BEHIND!
