A man who dares to waste one hour of life has not discovered the value of life.”

Tea is not just healthy. It’ll help you heal cuts, remove odors (even body odors for that matter), can be a great fertiliser, your floor cleaner and perfect for meat marinade.

The British drink about 165 millions cups of tea a day. That amounts to a staggering 62 billion cups annually.

If you would ask me to give you one valuable tip for the rest of the year then it will be to DRINK TEA☕️ EVERYDAY. ☺️

Now I am not referring to ThisWay chocolate drink, Nestle Milo drink, Lipton Tea leave or any of the over 1600 kinds of Teas in the world , am talking about TEA! Yes TEA!😀

What is TEA!!

TEA is an acronym for Time Expenditure Audit.

YES, You need to drink a lot of this TEA if you are willing to See your resolutions being Manifested by end of December 2015.

Time Expenditure Audit is just the process of you taking stock of your choices within the day and finding out how much time was spent on each of them in the view to Maximise the limited time available to you for the next days task.

This exercise can be very simple if you commit yourself to it.

Just as you audit your finances same way you can audit your time.

Check the time wasters, the choices that didn’t add value to your day, the time stealers, the time suckers etc and make a commitment to manage them.

Your notepad/diary can be of immense help. Some apps are available to download to help you with this task.

Remember, write your activities and time spent on them down. So at the end of the day you can know which of them is not worth repeating again.

It takes Patience and Commitment to successfully drink TEA and enjoy it as well.

The Chinese say,  “A hasty person drinks tea with a fork” 😊

Drink Your TEA tomorrow!!

4 Love Lessons

Not too long ago I shared with you some 9 lessons of Love, I have had the opportunity of gaining an extra 4.

These fantastic four lessons can be applied in any kind of relationship but most especially our love relationships, so let’s go through and be informed.

So here goes 4 lessons: -JB

1. The public expression of religiosity is not an indicator of private character; the fact that he or she posts Bible verses daily does not mean they have a better character.

Their public expression of faith is no guarantee of private presence of character. People may look well behaved in presence of others but in private you may not know who they are.

It’s easy to manifest the gifts of the spirit than to manifest the fruit thereof.

So take time to know people beyond their public image not necessarily to reject them but to avoid surprises.

2. If he/she loves me, he/she will become perfect for me. That’s an unrealistic expectation.
Whereas a person who loves you will make some efforts to please you, it doesn’t necessarily annihilate their weaknesses. Many have their weaknesses just as we do have ours.

If she was lying before she met you, loving you will not just make the lies go away.

If he was proud before he met you, it won’t just go away. Don’t take it personal. It’s not about you. It’s about them. Don’t use it so much against them you may also have your weakness.

3. If I love him, I can change him. Really? Forget it. No one change anybody.
Change is a door that can only be opened from the inside. So don’t go into a relationship with the agenda to change someone.

If you can’t accept them the way they are, walk away. If you walk into it, only hope for change. Don’t demand it.

If he/she is a relative then you can help him since you can throw a baby away with the bath water.

4. All men are the same/ all women are the same. We live in a culture that often tends to generalize and put into groups and give them one label.

If you make that mistake, it can hurt your relationship. The person you are with now is different from the last one.

So discover him. Discover her. People are unique. Stop using the same tape measure for everyone.

People say women love attention. Some women do. Some don’t. You have to find out which one you have and treat her accordingly. Don’t generalize!

9 Lessons I have learnt of Love and Relationship

These are not lessons I read from a book. It’s wisdom I have acquired through blood and tears. Those I applied brought me joy. Those I broke, broke my heart. And those who broke them against me, I’m still trying to forgive them~JB😀

1. Often we fall in love with haste. But it takes patience to stay in love. Men especially must learn that it takes infinite patience to love a woman.

2. As soon as a partner begins to introduce threats, conditions, ultimatums in a relationship, it is the beginning of the end. Love is unconditional.

3. Pride is the greatest obstacle to love. Pride is what causes unforgiveness. It stops you from admitting you are wrong. Pride makes you repeat same mistakes as if you have the right to be doing them. It never says im sorry.

4. No matter what else you do, if you are always complaining or criticizing your partner, they never feel truly loved. It tells them you think they are not good enough.

5. Nothing makes a man feel loved more than respect. Nothing makes him feel threatened than disrespect. People say men don’t like strong women. No. Men don’t like disrespectful women. Men don’t like woman who will not be submissive or obedient. You can be strong without being disrespectful.

6. Selfish people cannot love. If you are constantly demanding for things without giving back, it kills love. The other person feels used not loved. Reciprocate what you receive. It’s a Give and take!

7. Lying weakens relationships. Lies, no matter how small, creates doubts in the heart of your partner. They begin to second-guess everything you tell them and sometimes the relationship never recovers.

8. Doubts will end up ruining everything you have been positioned to enjoy. Trust and be trust worthy. Expect Good and good shall come. What will you lose if you expect good things and it never comes, you will rather never see the good things that comes your way every time.

9. Appreciate the little efforts she does for you. A grateful heart enjoys blessings twice. When they are recieved and when they are remembered. Don’t make the mistake of ingratitude and see some one loving and aprecciating what you took for granted– you will be regretting by then!!!!

Thank You JB!!!

STOP EXCUSES!!! Don’t MISS service!!

Don’t MISS service!!

Sometimes we feel comfortable to miss service but that should not be the case. Our work in heaven will be that of being in his presence forever and ever singing and praising our maker!

“One day spent in your Temple is better than a thousand anywhere else; I would rather stand at the gate of the house of my God than live in the homes of the wicked. (‭Psalms‬ ‭84‬:‭10‬ GNB)”

In the above verse we see how David puts great importance on being in the temple of God than anywhere else.( which includes your house, your work place, friends place)

He added that he would rather be at the door of a church building than to be some where else where the things of God(singing praises, worship, praying, reading, fellowship,) are not exalted or done which he describes as the home of the wicked. If the place where you missed church for doesn’t do the above (praises, worship, prayer, reading and fellowship,) then it’s a home of the wicked.

“My soul longs, yes, faints for the courts of the LORD; my heart and flesh sing for joy to the living God.

4 Blessed are those who dwell in your house, ever singing your praise! Selah

Psalms 84:2,4″

Being in the house of God is one thing a Christian should long for. When it’s time for service you must put a stop to everything and strive to be there. “Where two or more gathered in my name there I am in their Midst says The Lord”

So where will you be rather than the house of God.

“One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in his temple.  Psalms 27:4”

There are so many benefits to be in the house of The Lord but because  the devil wants us to miss them he gives us so many excuses to be absent and then we only go there when we find ourselves in some kind of trouble or we have nothing doing at home, or there’s light out.

“You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.  Psalms 16:11”

“Blessed is the one you choose and bring near, to dwell in your courts! We shall be satisfied with the goodness of your house, the holiness of your temple!  Psalms 65:4”

Don’t ever get familiar with God and say in your heart that you have always been attending service so God will understand, no he wants to have constant fellowship with you among the brethren. He says “forsake not the assembling of the brethren”

You may miss a lot when you miss service. As a growing Christian you should rather be seen more in church than when you first believed. Remember your first love and how active you were and turn back to Him.

“For behold, those who are far from you shall perish; you put an end to everyone who is unfaithful to you.  Psalms 73:2”

Be faithful to him, don’t give excuses, don’t lie for not going, don’t be weary of attending services, no matter the day or time. Evening services are equally important as Sunday services.

Well you may think you have to still work and finish up some chores before coming to work but he said

“Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.

Psalms 127:1″

So my dear friends it’s now time we continue steadfastly in fellowship and prayers.

“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. Acts 2:42”
